I’m awed my wife’s toughness in her fight against breast cancer. We thought she beat it in 2016 but had a recurrence in 2022 enduring radiation while teaching kindergarten. She’s determined to fight and ride!

For my grandpa who lost his fight against cancer on January 20, 2023. You were a great man and you’ll always be missed.

For my son. In his young 26 years of life, he has fought cancer not once, but twice. He has shown me what it means to be strong when faced with adversity, to persevere, and come out of these battles even stronger and more positive!

Three years ago my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer which had spread to his spine and adrenal glans. Over the course of three months he was diagnosed and passed away. He was my rock and I live and love to honor him!

My mom was diagnosed with multiple myeloma 3 years ago. She hasn’t stopped fighting since. To quote her favorite book… “I think I can. I know I can. I knew I could.”

I was diagnosed with childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia at 10 years old. I was pronounced “cancer free” on my 16th birthday! Hoping that research will continue until there’s a 100% cure rate!!!

Lymphoma tumor on the eye, 12 radiation treatments , I am cancer free since Jan 2018. I am a velosano volunteer, hoping to make it easier on the next person.

A dear friend was diagnosed earlier this year. He is at the beginning of his fight and so far is winning! I am encouraged by the research updates I receive from CC and so proud of my fellow caregivers who work in LRI and Taussig!
